Tribute Gifts
Honor someone in recognition of a significant occasion or event (such as a birthday, holiday, anniversary or special thank you) or memorialize a loved one or friend with a Tribute Gift to the Symphony.
Because all Tribute Gifts are applied toward the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's endowment fund (which reserves the principal in perpetuity and releases only a portion each year for annual operating support), these gifts ensure an unparalleled musical experience for generations to come.

When a Tribute Gift is made:
- Acknowledgement of the gift is sent to the donor.
- Notification of a gift received (with any special message), along with the donor's name, is sent to the person or persons being honored.
- Notification of a gift received (with any special message), along with the donor's name, is sent to the family of the individual being memorialized.
- Those being honored or memorialized are respectfully recognized in the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's Playbill program.
A memorial concert is held each year to remember those who have been remembered through a memorial gift.
Generous gifts totaling $1,000 or more in memory of an individual allow the Dallas Symphony to extend recognition in the Playbill program in perpetuity.
